Watching lots of TV. Another popular show that sold over millions of dollars worth of merchendise is Pokemon. A young teenager, Ash Ketchum starts a journey to catch all 150 pokemon and be a pokemon master with his pal Pickachu. He meets two friends along the way, Misty who is a water pokemon trainer hoping to assist in control of the gym her sisters are running and also because pickachu chared her bike. Brock is destined to be a Pokemon breeder tags along and is a surprisingly great cook. He appears to be blind but he really isn't.

Mortal Kombat became a very popular game in the 1990's. You battle every character in order to become the greatest fighter. In fact there are still Mortal Kobat games being made and improved. Another popular game that has basically the same gameplay as Mortal Kombat and just as popular was Street Fighter.
